Using proprietary technologies BMI is now building out its Technology Demonstration Plant to go live in mid 2018. It will produce protein flours, textured protein concentrates and at least two basic types of protein isolates, a readily soluble protein and a precipitated protein, all of which are intended for use in various food applications. All of these protein products have good functional properties and a high nutritional value. The by-products and waste materials will be used as fish/animal feed and fuel.
