Tallinn English College is the oldest English Language immersion school in Estonia following the traditions of Anna Tõrvand-Tellmann Private English College, State English College and Tallinn Secondary School No 7. TEC comprises three school levels with the aim of following common goals and pedagogical continuity. The three levels are primary school, middle school and college (secondary school). Tallinn English College received the status of the IB World School in May 2009 as the first municipal school in Estonia. The status guarantees the school the right to provide education on secondary level according to the curriculum of IB Diploma Programme (IB DP). The implementation of the programme started in September 2009.
